Dress Code

The Club’s dress policy, as determined by the Membership, sets standards of appropriate attire within the Club.  Currently, on the Ground Floor, modern professional dress is acceptable.  This is defined as a buttoned shirt with collar, tailored trousers and dress shoes for men, the equivalent for women.

However, on all dining floors (1st and 2nd floors), a jacket and tie are mandatory Denim and Sports apparel are NOT acceptable attire.

One is never over-dressed or under-dressed with a Little Black Dress.

Mobile Phones

Members and Guests are required to switch their mobile phones off or to silent mode when entering the Clubhouse and Health Club. The ringing of mobile phones or the carrying on of conversations on mobile phones are strictly prohibited at any time.

Members and guests are permitted to look at their smartphones and tablets to access diaries or check messages.  Members are permitted to make outgoing telephone calls in the Clubhouse Business Centre and on Level 3.  There are also two dedicated booths provided on the ground floor of the Clubhouse for Members to make outgoing telephone calls.



Children must be under the supervision of an adult at all times.  Children under 12 are not permitted in the public areas of the Club without the prior approval of the Secretary.


Large Bags

Large briefcases, sporting bags, etc should be left with Reception rather than being taken into the public rooms.


Members may use laptop computers on the three desks in the Dangar Room, as well as in the Business Centre on level three. For private business please book one of our meeting rooms with Reception.
